PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy is simple, patience is a virtue. As Abraham Lincoln once said “If I had eight hours to chop down a tree, I’d spend the first six of them sharpening my axe.”

COACHING EXPERIENCE

I have over 10 years of coaching youth, high school, and post-collegiate athletes in various sports. The athletes I have coached range in ability and skill level and I am proud to have been able to coach a number of athletes to the post-championship level. This includes, All-State, All-American and State Championships athletes. I specialize in sprint, vertical/horizontal field events, combine events, and mid-distance and distance events.

ABOUT ME

I grew up in Miami, Florida and attended school and competed for the Gators at the University of Florida. After college, I ran at the elite level for 14 years. During this time, I competed at the Olympic games twice (2004 and 2012), competed in 6 World Championships, was a World Semi-finalist, and I obtained a silver and bronze medal at the Central American Caribbean Games.

My passion for running goes beyond my own experiences. Being able to help people reach their full potential drives me every day. As a South Floridian, I enjoy the outdoors, being active, and living a healthy lifestyle. I believe in chasing dreams and that reaching them provides a purposeful life.

My hobbies include traveling to different countries, visiting beautiful beaches, and running on trails during hot and humid days. I am an adrenaline junkie that would skydive once a month if I could, but for now I will settle for my coffee addiction.
