Athletes will learn a routine of proper warmup, drills, and stretching, and be exposed to some of the more specific, technical aspects of certain events (starts, form, etc.) Youth Track is appropriate for youth from ages 4 – 14. Although we are unable to consistently offer the “mock meet” we’ve had at times in the past due to space/time constraints at SLHS, smaller timed efforts will be included throughout the program when appropriate.
Because we cannot offer a more competitive team program this spring due to lack of meet opportunities, etc., we encourage athletes with competitive aspirations to join this program and coaches will be sure to challenge them appropriately.
(Your child’s experience will NOT be compromised if you cannot attend every week.)

Sundays from 4:15pm – 5:15pm (No sessions March 28 or April 4 due to Spring Break/Easter)
Program Cost: $75
The Youth Track Program includes 8 weeks (or as many as you can attend) of coached sessions and a program t-shirt. We’ve reduced the cost so that it’s economical even if your family misses a week due to vacation or other commitments.
